Podcast #5: Alcohol, Guns, and the ISIS Threat

2 September 8, 2014 by Christian
http://traffic.libsyn.com/drunkexpastors/2014_09_04_0005.mp3

podcast-5In this episode of Drunk Ex-Pastors, Jason and Christian keep their promise to do a shot in honor of all those who shared their podcast on social media this past week, and go on to extol the many benefits of alcohol, and how the moderate enjoyment of various libations can help (in the immortal words of Pink) “get this party started.” They also take some listener feedback and discuss issues like gun control, ISIS, and why Jason hates animals. God, he really is just a horrible, horrible person.

OK I’m late to the game. But I can’t start in the middle so I am starting at the beginning! Just listened to #5. Sweet reference to our former hs pastor and the cider story. Him telling that story is still so fresh in my brain after so many years. I was so sold in that way of thinking for so long. (Alcohol and anything resembling it is of the devil) My way of rebelling against that was to grow up and marry a brewmaster! Woohoo! And by the way my kids see their dad drunk. It’s all good to me for them to know what kind of effect alcohol has on us. So they know why it’s important to be responsible about it. 🙂
